Consultation:
This quality standard covers all young people (aged up to 25) using children’s health and social care services who are due to make the transition to adults’ services. It includes young people:
· with mental health problems
· with disabilities
· with long-term, life-limiting or complex needs
· in local authority care.
BPS Action
The Society intends to provide a response to the consultation and will continue to monitor developments.
Please see our Guidance for Contributors document for a brief, guide to the processes involved in the preparation of Society responses to consultations which is attached as well as ensuring that all your comments adhere to the Society’s Quality Definition – comments that don’t do so may not be included (it is particularly important to provide full references for any citations or online resources mentioned).
If we haven’t heard from anyone by this date, we will assume you are happy for the Society not to respond.'
