Event Description

This mini-conference provides a forum for exploring some of the principles applied psychologists might consider if they are to become effective agents of social change. Prof. Carolyn Kagan and Dr Iyabo Fatimilehin will share examples of community empowerment projects they have led. Dr Laura Cutts will discuss counselling psychology's relationship with social justice leadership, vision and action; and Julia Robinson will share insights into ways counselling psychology can be informed and enriched by community psychology philosophy and practices.
