Event Description

We would like to invite you to a cultural event in support of Save the Latin Village & Wards Corner Campaign
 
Our aim is to celebrate Latin culture and diversity, to occupy public space, inviting people to dance, samba, salsa on the Latin corner outside the market as a way of raising awareness about the campaign and the threat our community faces from eviction. 
 
 2PM - Salsa and Samba music bands - ready for the SHUTDOWN
 
3PM - Forming a Human Chain* around the Block to protect our market local businesses and residents - as well as to resist eviction, and remembering the symbolic human chain that was formed around Wards Corner in 2008: http://www.thetottenhamindependent.co.uk/news/3225804.display/
