Post: Caseworker (Part-time 30hrs per week)
Salary: £26,500–29,250 pro rata (£13-15ph) dependent on qualifications and experience
Contract: 9 weeks Fixed-Term Maternity Cover
Start date: Monday 13th April
Dost is a one-stop service that aims to improve the quality of life of children and young people aged between 11 and 25 years old from the following backgrounds: refugee, asylum seeking, trafficked, undocumented, or migrants newly arrived to the UK.We are looking for a dedicated caseworker to support and advocate for young people in our client group in accessing their statutory rights and entitlements, in navigating the asylum process, and offering practical and emotional support.
With experience of working with children and/or young people from this population, with a good understanding of asylum and refugee issues in the UK, you are motivated, confident, and energetic, with a dedication to following a needs-led holistic approach. You are a creative problem solver, a team-player, an excellent communicator (written and spoken) and proactive.
