Carolyn Kagan and Mark Burton (community psychologists) wrote a letter to The Psychologist and it is appearing in the September print edition.  It is already published online, with our Open Letter.

We hope that the publication of the letter will bring in more signatures and help us win this campaign.

You can help in the following ways - most of which will take very little of your time:

1) Share the Psychologist letter (which also includes the Open Letter):

2) Ask people to sign the Open Letter - here: Personal contact will work best, but also use social media, relevant network lists, etc.

3)  Join the discussion - there is a comment option after the Open Letter on the Psychologist site - I have already used this to respond to the Hon Treasurer Please add your voice to the discussion, there and/or in the Psychologist letters page.

4)  If you know any of the Trustees - consider raising the matter individually with them.  They are listed here:

Thanks for your support with this.   BPS investments are not big - but winning over another professional organisation will be a boost tot the global fossil fuel divestment campaign and it also keeps the issue of climate change and the use of collective resources in people's attention.
