Key Figures in Community Psychology in the UK Support the Ning!

Well done for all your dedication and energy in taking this new Ning platform forward! It will be great if it helps us come together to make our critical community psychology activitities in the UK more accessible and transparent.

We need to encourage and enable a new generation of citizen activists and critical psychologists to join forces to play their part within the many and varied global efforts to shift the balance of power away from those who currently have excessive influence, status and money, in our unbalanced greedy and consumerist world, and towards those who may be poor in terms of money, status and influence but who are rich in ideas, resourcefulness, kindness for one another and zest for life and for change .

Annie Mitchell, Community Psychologist in Plymouth

Thank you for this initiative! Bringing together UK community psychology discussions, debates, announcements and inspirations into one place is a powerful aid to building our community. I’m looking forward to learning more about what people are doing to bring society to psychology, and to thinking critically together about routes to transformative social change.
