Bringing Society To Psychology
Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the (VERY FIRST!) community psych festival last week- it was so great to see the diverse range of ideas from music, art, food, and theatre that people are using dialogue and collaboration to make changes in their lives. Just wanted to say another huge thank you to those who organised the conference, it was brilliant (and the Social Kitchen food should be at every event- I'm never going to be happy with a sandwich at any sort of conference, it was amazing!)
I didn't catch the details for the Psychologists Against Austerity meeting this Weds- has anyone got them to hand?
Thanks very much and see some of you there.
The next Psychologists Against Austerity Meeting is Wednesday 10th December at 6.30pm, above Freedom Bookshop, next to Whitechapel tube:
Hi Sarah and Everyone
Absolutely agree, wonderful festival and huge thanks to the people who did so much to make it happen!
The Psychologists Against Austerity meeting is actually the next week on Wednesday 10th of December. I had said this Wednesday but I had the wrong date sorry!!!
The details are:
6.30pm Wednesday 10th December
Freedom Press Bookshop near Aldgate East tube (venue TBC in the next 2 days - so please double check this is correct!)
Starting to build up planning towards the big event at the House of Lords!
Hope to see you,
Just to follow up, in case you haven't seen the info on the event listing, we have moved the venue to the Royal Festival Hall!
One level up from the Clore Ballroom using the stairs on the left hand side if you're facing the river... you'll be familiar with where to go! ;-)
I can't make it next week unfortunately for me, but email Sally Z for her phone number in case you can't find everyone on the night...
