Mens Equality Learning Disability (MELD) Group

Hi All,

I am a trainee clinical psychologist based in Shrewsbury/Telford (Midlands). I currently work for a NHS Learning Disabilities Service. We run a mens group (MELD) and a womans group (WELD) to address issues such as equality, empowerment, discrimination etc.

In the face of the sweeping cuts to welfare support for the most vulnerable members of society we are in the process of arranging a conference to discuss these issues and to arrange an appropriate response.

If anyone is interested in providing a talk - either at a group (currently fortnightly on a Friday) or at the conference (Easter, 2015) then please get in touch.
