Bringing Society To Psychology
Hi Practitioner-Activists
Writing up my research ethics form I'm struck by the word 'stakeholder': I am supposed to list who these might be in relation to my research.
It feels to me as if it's a word that has come into use since Tony Blair was PM and it smacks too much of neo-liberalism.
Surely a stakeholder is someone with a business interest?
I know there are not-for profit businesses but nevertheless there must be a word that means someone who has an interest or who might be interested in the research, which comes from a community rather than a business perspective.
Any ideas?
