Bringing Society To Psychology
Hi all
I've just uploaded in my blog (in this Ning web site) about a module that we teach at NTU on Community Psychology and it would be really interesting to learn from others who teach Community Psychology and from those students who are doing courses/modules that have a Community Psychology focus.
Tutors: Do you have any courses/modules that you can share info on? It would be good to hear about what's worked well, and also the challenges of your course development as well...
Students: What do you enjoy most about the Community Psychology-focused module/course that you're doing, and why? What part of your module/course that you've done, or are doing, has given you new insights on community psychology issues?
I'd be extremely interested to learn about your thoughts...
Best wishes
Glenn

Hi Glenn,
I'm Carlos Luis, a psychologist from Monterrey, Mexico. I'm a member of the Society for Community Research and Action, and have found helpful resources in their webpage. The following page displays class activities along with introductory information:

Additionally, as a student, what I've found most helpful has been to study around cases and exercises, that could later be referenced for reflection. Here's an exercise that I've found useful:

Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
